City of Brighton is Hiring an Oasis - Assistant Concessions Manager Near Brighton, CO
Starting hiring salary - $18.00 hourly DEFINITION Assist the Concession Manager in the daily operations of the concession stand, including, but not limited to: customer service, product ordering and inventory, daily deposits, and reports, cost control, employee training, and facility maintenance. Helps oversee food and beverage for birthday parties and group events and assists with the marketing and promotion of these events. Must be available to work evenings, holidays and weekends as required approximately April – Sept. 20. Must possess excellent customer service skills and promote positive customer service practices at all times. This position must work well independently and with teams while providing excellent customer service, which supports the City of Brighton's mission and values.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED Receives direction from the Concession Manager. The Assistant Concession Manager supervises other concessions staff.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Assists with training and supervising concession staff.
Takes weekly physical inventory of food, beverage, paper goods, and custodial supplies.
Uses various kitchen and restaurant equipment and supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS Must have good computer skills, with experience using POS or RecTrac system (RecTrac preferred).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent, with some college, preferred. Must have prior cash handling experience, with at least one (1) year of food service supervisory experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
