Idaho Ice World features two NHL Regulation-Sized Ice Rinks accommodating to all hockey, figure skating, and public skating programs. Both rinks are equipped with custom scoreboards and time clocks visible from the ice as well as the stands. 
Sr Hockey Instructor:

• Instructs and coaches youth and adult hockey classes and assists with coaching house league youth teams. 
• Provides a high level of customer service to all customers. 
• Open to all interested persons 18 years of age and older. 
• This position is designated as At-Will.

Instructs and coaches adult and youth hockey classes and teams. Follows plans from the Hockey Department. Prepares ice for practice by checking nets and ice for safety hazards. (60%)
Answers questions from parents, guardians, and players regarding practice plans. (40%)

Five years of experience playing league hockey.
Working knowledge of ice hockey rules and regulations; fundamentals of ice hockey to include skating, shooting, passing, etc.; general customer service techniques.
Ability to interpret and apply various rules and regulations; maintain good relations with coaches, officials, parents, and players; display an attitude of cooperation and work harmoniously with all levels of City employees, the general public and other organizations; communicate effectively in the English language at a level necessary for efficient job performance; complete assignments in a timely fashion; understand and comply with all rules, policies and regulations; maintain prompt and regular attendance; and perform all essential and marginal functions as assigned by an authorized employee, supervisor and/or manager with or without reasonable accommodation.
Licensing And Other Requirements

USA Hockey registered member

Willing to become a level 1 USA Hockey Certified coach, which includes continuing coaching education.
