Boise Urban Garden School teaches youth and adults the fundamentals of gardening through science, nutrition, and environmental-based lesson plans and activities.Culinary Instructor: Instructs students in a culinary and cooking class following an instructor-created curriculum. Work is performed in a class setting.This position is designated as At-Will.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Instructs students in culinary classes. Ensures the well-being of participants enrolled in program. Works with supervisor to develop and implement an appropriate class curriculum. (70%)Prepares material and supplies for class. Ensures equipment and supplies are in good working order and notifies supervisor when items need repair or replacement. Maintains rosters and attendance sheets for duration of class. (30%)Performs other duties as assigned.
