CITY OF BELOIT is Hiring a Seasonal Equipment Operator-Water Near Beloit, WI

Summer Seasonal:

May through August (40 hours/week)

The Seasonal Equipment Operator- Water Utility will be responsible for completing the Water Utility's valve exercising and hydrant flushing programs. Other duties may include painting fire hydrants, assisting other staff with water meter and transmitter replacements, cleaning and testing water meters as well as general building and grounds maintenance.

Must be enthusiastic, highly organized, motivated, dependable, patient and able to maintain discipline. Must be capable of following directions and have an ability to learn new skilled. Possess good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to complete daily paperwork and work well with others from different cultures and backgrounds.

Must be 18 years of age upon employment and possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Wages: $14.00/hour

Work Sites: Various locations throughout the City of Beloit
