GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Under the Direction of the Court Services Coordinator, performs responsible work in the planning, implementation, direction and evaluation of community relations for the City Court Department. Work involves assisting in the development, implementation and supervision of court programs. Work involves supervising the community service work program and those individuals assigned to complete their community service at the courthouse. Work requires submitting and monitoring work orders to the Department of Public Works. In the absence of the Court Services Coordinator, employee is responsible for the direction of the division and the responsibilities of the Court Services Coordinator. Work is reviewed through personal conferences, written reports and for results obtained. Performs other work as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, or a related field, and three years of progressively responsible social work experience.

SUBSTITUTIONS

Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
