GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Under the guidance of the Director or Assistant Director of Human Development and Services, performs highly responsible administrative work in assisting the Baton Rouge Transitional Grant Area Advisory Council/Advisory Council in developing and implementing a comprehensive integrated health continuum for individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Work also involves establishing an intra-departmental relationship to implement the federally mandated duties and responsibilities for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP) Part A. Work is performed with considerable independence within the funding requirements of federal, state, and local government. Performs other work as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, communication, health administration, social work or a related field and one year of supervisory experience.

Position(s) of this classification may require a valid Louisiana driver's license. If license is required, must be maintained throughout employment in this position.
