The City of Aiken is accepting applications for a part-time Heavy Equipment Operator to join our Engineering & Utilities Department in the Streets Division. This position operates and maintain all the small and heavy equipment used for dirt road maintenance.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Operates a variety of light and heavy equipmentMove equipment from job to jobMaintain and complete safety inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning of the equipmentMaintain all City dirt roadsMaintain all storm drains on all City dirt roadsMaintain all City horse pathsSlope and pull ditches on dirt roads for proper drainagePerforms other related duties as required
