Equipment Operator

CTI and Associates, Inc. Job Description:

  • Drive and operate heavy equipment.
  • Assume responsibility for proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
  • Perform pre and post safety checklists.
  • Observe and obey all traffic laws in the operation of assigned company vehicle.
  • Operate loaders, excavators, dozer (material handling/grading).
  • Experience with hydraulic sheers, screeners and hoe-rams.
  • Maintaining and operating various types of heavy construction and demolition equipment such as dozers, excavators, backhoes, loaders, rollers/compactors, trenchers, trucks/tractor
  • forklifts in a safe and efficient manner and adjust equipment as necessary.
  • This position will perform other field related functions as assigned by superintendent or foreman.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have current Operators License.
  • Clean driving record. 5 years of general civil construction experience preferred.
  • High SchoolDiploma or equivalent. **May assist other craft workers.

Additional Requirements:

  • CTI is a Drug-Free Workplace - Must pass pre-hire drug screen.
  • Must possess valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to physically navigate construction sites.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
