Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers in the deli department, handle food preparation, and provide excellent customer service.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve deli food items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot meals
- Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide recommendations
- Operate kitchen equipment including slicers, ovens, and fryers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Upsell additional products to customers
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure quality control

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a deli or restaurant setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to assist and engage customers
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
