We believe our Dental Assistants are the heartbeat of the practice helping with day-to-day operations. Seeking a candidate who would love to grow professionally with the office.
- Assist the Dentist during treatment procedures and communicate with patients, maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate radiographs – Digital X-rays!
- Promptly set up treatment operatories and maintain overall cleanliness.
- Sterilize, maintain, and carefully handle instruments, equipment, and operatories providing a clean and professional environment (adhering to OSHA and safety policies)
- Organize and maintain communication with laboratories regarding patient lab work.
- Provide patients with pre-and post-op care instructions.
- Assist with presenting and discussing treatment plans.
- Various front office tasks, if required.
- Experience with a wide variety of procedures including dentures, surgical extractions, root canal treatments, crowns, bridges, etc.
- Experience with sedation and implant dentistry would be a big plus, but not required.
- Excellent Communication Skills and a Positive Attitude.
- Professionally oriented, multi-tasker, and a team player.
- High school or equivalent (Preferred).
- Dental Assisting: 1 year (Required).
- Registered Dental Assistant (Certification Required).
- Cross-trained for front office and back (strongly considered).
- Current BLS/CPR Certification.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
- Monday to Friday.
- Alternate Saturdays.
- Quarterly bonus pay based on performance.
- Dental benefits (in-office).
- One location.
