Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Be a detective: Diagnose vehicle problems with precision by inspecting engines, electrical systems, and cutting-edge computer technology.
• Keep cars running like new: Perform routine maintenance like oil changes and tune-ups to ensure peak performance and longevity.
• Be a customer champion: Clearly explain repairs and recommend future maintenance plans to keep clients informed and happy.
• Fix it right: Repair or replace faulty parts, tackle leaks, and solve any automotive challenge that comes your way.
• Quote with confidence: Provide accurate estimates for repairs, giving customers peace of mind about cost and timeline.
• Be a meticulous record keeper: Maintain detailed logs of work performed and vehicle issues for future reference.
• Keep the tools sharp: Take pride in maintaining the shop's equipment and tools to ensure peak efficiency.

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

• Experienced Technician: We're looking for a proven automotive service technician with a strong track record of success.
• Factory Trained: Certifications from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo, FIAT, GM, or Ford are a plus.
• Diesel Expertise a Bonus: Experience working on diesel engines is a plus, but not required.
• Technical Know-How: You possess a deep understanding of a vehicle's mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Diagnostic Whiz: You're skilled in using various diagnostic tools and methods to identify problems quickly and accurately.
• A Tool Savvy Pro: You're comfortable handling a wide range of tools, from common pliers to heavy equipment lifts.
• Safety First: You prioritize a safe work environment and consistently follow all safety protocols.
• Physically Fit: The ability to perform physically demanding tasks is required.
• Learning Never Stops: While a high school diploma and vocational training or apprenticeship are preferred, a strong desire to learn and grow is key. Valid certification (e.g ASE) preferred but not required
• Clear Communication: You can effectively read, interpret, and follow instructions.
• Authorization to Work: You are legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and are a current resident.
• Pre-employment Screening: All candidates must pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and a drug screen.
