The Digital Analytics & Tag Architect position will lead, manage, and maintain Citadel’s digital analytics and tag management systems to produce top-quality digital analytics and insights for the organization to inform business objectives.

This position will be responsible for proactively instrumenting, QAing, and maintaining both the company’s digital analytics and tag management systems while keeping systems updated, future-ready, and ready to implement new technologies to move digital analytics forward into other data systems like CDP, server-less tagging, Data Layer, etc.

This role will be within the Digital Experience team reporting to the VP or Director of Digital Experience and works closely with the Web Analytics Associate and cross functional teams of the organization. This is a collaborative role where you will work on a great digital team and other departments regularly.

Responsibilities

• Lead by implementing and tracking clean digital data on web and/or app to empower successful digital decision-making, in support of larger business objectives. Identify gaps and opportunities throughout the customer experience via digital analytics and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Deep understanding of consent implementation, 3rd party cookie deprecation, and privacy regulations to make a recommendation to the organization and execute updates.
• Proactively find data connections between systems and digital analytics to further the organization’s business objectives via data strategy, insight, and structure.
• Stay informed and current on all Digital Analytics updates such as: tag management, analytics platforms, A/B testing platforms, Google Tag Manager (or equivalent), Amplitude Analytics (or equivalent), CDP integration, cookie deprecation, and other related needs.
• Proactively update existing instrumentations and QA all digital analytics for Citadel’s entire digital footprint for regular reporting and ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
• Develop and manage processes for scalable implementation of digital tags on event-based analytics systems.
• Support digital vendor updates, deployments, and implementations with associated tracking needs. Be digital liaison with vendors as needed to complete accurate tracking.
• Work with Digital Account Opening teammates to understand, align tracking, maintain related dashboards.
• Manage digital Conversion Rate Optimization/AB testing from hypothesis to data read-out stage and determine statistical significance to take action and communicate findings to the VP or Director of Digital Experience.
• Seek opportunities to expand stakeholder relationships through analytics. Advise internal stakeholders on tracking ability and implementation projects as needed.
• Collaborate with VP or Director of Digital Experience and Web Analytics Associate to co-plan, collect data, gather insights, and present findings in product owner Quarterly Business Reviews.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Has expertise in one or more of the following areas: digital analytics, digital optimization, data systems.
• At least 4 years of relevant work experience and expertise in a tag management platform such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium, etc.
• Experience and expertise with digital analytics & AB testing tools such as Amplitude Experiment, Amplitude Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, PowerBI, Looker Studio or equivalents. Must have implemented, configured, and customized the tools.
• High expertise in digital tracking of Multiple/Single Page Application sites coded in Angular and various other languages.
• Expertise in digital analytics systems to create and execute updated roadmap.
• Articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner, in speech and writing; understand the audience and tailor messages accordingly.
• Exemplify great consulting skills, diplomacy, effective messaging, and mentor team members as needed; share expertise freely.
• Demonstrate high intellectual bandwidth, as well as an ability to prioritize projects and consistently meet deadlines.
• Have the ability to overcome technical and business challenges independently or with small amounts of direction when needed.
