CIS is Hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician (West Columbia, SC) Near West Columbia, SC

Position Overview
 
This position is primarily responsible for various electrical and electronic maintenance functions. This would include, but not limited to, installation of electrical wiring, connecting production machinery to electrical distribution panels, troubleshooting electrical/electronic machine malfunctions, preventative maintenance, and other related duties. This position will also support mechanical maintenance related tasks as needed.

*Train on 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm)
Pay
  • $28.00 - $32.00 (Depending on experience)
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
  • Installing wiring and electrical systems.
  • Electrical maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Reading complex production machinery electrical schematics for service and troubleshooting.
    • General electrical wiring and interconnectivity of equipment.
    • Board level diagnostics.
    • PLC troubleshooting.
    • Etc.
  • Assisting Industrial Engineering in electrical related tasks.
  • Identifying electrical issues.
Supporting Functions
  • Alteration or basic fabrication of devices for custom applications.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support mechanical maintenance as needed.
  • Perform other incidental and related duties as requires and assigned.
Qualifications
Required
  • Technical education in a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
  • Experience with electrical, electro-mechanic.
  • High level of workmanship and highly motivated work ethic.
  • Knowledge of CNC machines.
  • Knowledge of PLCs.
  • Schematic and process sheet reading.
  • Hands-on ability to use power tools, hand tools, testing and calibration equipment.
  • Must be able to work in the United States with out corporate sponsorship now and within the future.

  • Fork truck experience
