1st shift position
Pay ranges from $37,128 - $46,675 - DOE
- Performs advanced facility maintenance, construction, and repair tasks according to safety, service, and quality standards.
- Acts as the SME to oversee and lead projects.
- Assists with developing standard operating procedures, installs, inspects, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems.
- Leads miscellaneous facility projects with advanced skillsets, including construction and renovation involving electrical, plumbing, and structural projects.
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of buildings, building components, and grounds.
- Utilizes a work order system to log activities as required.
- Works with and assists trades contractors to complete projects or complex repairs.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and root causes of complex facilities-related issues, including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and plumbing.
- Assists with the continuous improvement of the facility's preventive maintenance program.
- Leads activities that create a continuous improvement environment, sustains lean processes, suggests areas of improvement in safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Actively supports lean, 5S, and value stream management initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
