Blue Man Group Boston is seeking a Video Supervisor. This position is responsible for Supervising the Video Department and ensuring that the technical and aesthetic standards of the show are at their highest caliber.
Supervisory responsibilities include but are not limited to: Keeping the paperwork up to date, planning the annual budget, ordering, clear communication with outside vendors, outside gigs as assigned, attending Full Company Meetings, attending Production Meetings, attending rehearsals as scheduled, evaluating the Video department staff, scheduling, assisting in the hiring and training of new Video operators and clear communication of notes and changes to the Video department staff.
Show responsibilities include performing preset duties, executing show cues as well as changeover & post show duties in a safe, professional, and timely manner. The Video Supervisor is required to work a minimum of 5 shows per week (more may be necessary during increased performance weeks).
Qualified candidates must have an extensive background video systems in live entertainment. Experience with QLab or similar control software is required. Qualified candidates must be detail-oriented, selfmotivated, and highly organized.
