What is this role? 

As an AP Analyst for Cirkul, you will work with the Shared Services team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be a part of the strategic team that’s responsible for all accounts payable administrative functions.

What does an average day look like?

• Driving Results: Complete payments and control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Taking Ownership: Pay vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation. 
• Making Decisions: Prepare and publish weekly Accounts Payable reports to leadership. Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos.
• Cultivating Relationships: Ability to work with multiple departments including receiving, logistics and supply chain.
• Instilling Trust: Respond to internal and external inquiries from vendors and suppliers on payment inquiries and delivery confirmations.
• Customer Focus: Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable business process improvements. 

What background should you have? 

• Previous accounts payable experience is a plus
• Intermediate experience with Excel. 
• Experience with Continia Document Capture and Business Central is a plus. 
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and within small teams. 
• Strong time management capabilities, ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
• Experience in retail, manufacturing or ecommerce is a plus.
