We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic project management team. In this role, you will oversee various government contracts while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Projects could include public awareness, communications, accessibility, and creative services projects for local, state, or federal government agencies. The ideal candidate has a strong project management background, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work with local, state, and federal government entities.

Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, communications, design, project management, and leadership, to ensure seamless project execution and successful delivery.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation models, ensuring a linear and logical progression of project tasks.
- Monitor project progress and anticipate potential challenges, providing solutions to keep projects on track. Analyze project data to forecast trends, anticipate and mitigate project risks, and devise data-driven strategies for project execution.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with local, state, and federal government clients, leveraging these partnerships to drive business development and marketing initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractor and external vendor activities, resolve issues, monitor performance and timelines, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Generate reports and present findings, insights, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders. Gather and evaluate project performance metrics, ensuring data-driven decision-making processes are in place.
- Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement for future projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Affairs, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project or account management (3-5 years). Campaign management experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to systematically dissect complex projects and identify key areas for improvement.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and present to stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with local, state, and federal government entities.
- Previous experience with public awareness, equity, sustainability, or public health-related campaigns or programs. Experience with stakeholder engagement or community outreach is a bonus.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Project management certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) is a bonus but not required.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually. Dependent on relevant experience, knowledge, and performance.
