Manager, Change Management
Role Summary
To support the adoption of new technologies deployed by Global Tech’s Infrastructure and Security (GTIS) organization, there is a need for a full-time change management role. This role reports to the Director, Change Management and supports the GTIS team that delivers Cyber Security, Infrastructure, Network and End User Computing services.
This manager will be dedicated to GTIS efforts, responsible for the change management activities on various projects that drive our growth ambitions. This work includes: creating change strategy plans, building program governance structures, articulating visions and expected project outcomes, identifying and analyzing stakeholders, assessing impact, developing communication strategies, completing training needs assessments, and executing preparation activities and feedback loops. This manager will use and contribute to the Circle K change management methodology and work to ensure that any disruption to normal business operations at Circle K due to these programs is kept to a minimum.
In addition to project-level support, this team member will support broader GTIS organizational needs that improve efficiency and focus on people. This includes managing an overall organization change management plan that outlines plans for strategic communication to the department that include training, recognition and engagement opportunities. Additionally, this manager would be responsible for designing and executing leadership offsites, facilitating town halls and play an active role in the GTIS leadership team.
The manager will serve as a trusted advisor to the VP of Global Tech Infrastructure and Security promoting leadership principles and effective communication approaches. This work includes managing strategy leadership communications, identifying stakeholder management action plans, supporting action plans for employee satisfaction results, and more.
And finally, this team member will contribute to our internal discipline, acting as a change agent to implement and manage best practices across the Global Tech organization. This includes providing mentorship to individuals seeking ad-hoc change guidance, building and sharing great tools and templates for other practitioners on the team, and hosting occasional learning sessions as requested.
Primary Responsibilities and activities:
Qualifications:
7 years of experience designing and executing change management plans
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
Experience working with senior leaders on major change initiatives with significant visibility
Experience defining and executing adoption measurement strategy
Ability to influence and think strategically and tactically
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Change Management certification is preferred
