Circa Hospitality Group JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Special Events Manager, the Special Events Coordinator is responsible for assisting with all daily tasks of the department. This role will provide support for all team members by assisting with planning, organizing, and executing a multitude of different events each month. The Special Events Coordinator works closely with many departments to ensure all tasks are being managed correctly a completed properly. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Assisting with the Special Events Manager in daily tasks
Planning, organizing, and running various retail and casino events across three properties. These events include, but are not limited to:
Slot tournaments
Blackjack tournaments
Themed events at our rooftop lounge, Legacy Club
Casino promotional giveaways
Showing an understanding of all current practices and policies of the Special Events department
Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting the Company Service Standards and Company Policies and Procedures at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to communicate thoughts effectively in a variety of settings
Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
Knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to work well with others in a team
Excellent spelling, grammar, editing and written/verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to work some weekends and holidays
Casino experience (preferred but not required)
Bachelor's degree (preferred but not required)
Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the Company and State of Nevada
