About the role

We are looking for a dynamic associate eager to support two of our long-standing pharmaceutical accounts. This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day account needs, working closely with a cross-functional team of experts from across the broader IPG network. The ideal candidate possesses a strong interest in healthcare, including science communications, is curious and excited to experiment and explore new ideas/new channels, is proactive, resourceful, has an entrepreneurial spirit, and enjoys writing. 

  • Equal parts management and execution of integrated marketing campaigns
  • Can come up with a content outline, but also develop a interesting infographic
  • Knows how to develop workback plans and execute a material from ideation through client review processes
  • Assist with project coordination and timeline management of core projects
  • Develop creative and digital media briefs
  • Conduct research and audits for clients and new business
  • Support metrics and results reporting to measure success
  • Support client review process management (e.g., Veeva submissions, referencing, uploads)
  • Support day-to-day training and oversight of junior team members to deliver great client work

The requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 1-2 years of agency experience
  • Understanding of communications in a regulated space
  • Understanding or eagerness to learn how to work in integrated agency teams (Earned Media, Social, Partnerships, Creative)
  • Can promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational functions
  • Can handle multiple deliverables at once
  • Outstanding communications skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Focused on problem solving

NYC Salary range: $55,000 - $60,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
