Position Overview:
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our Cinnabon & Auntie Anne's Bakery. You will work closely with the General Manager to uphold brand standards, drive sales, and provide a delightful experience for every customer who walks through our doors. From supervising staff and managing inventory to delivering top-notch customer service, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment where customers can indulge in our delectable offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of bakery operations, including staffing, inventory management, and financial performance.
• Train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold brand standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
• Drive sales through effective merchandising, upselling, and promotional strategies.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including cash handling and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with the General Manager to implement operational improvements and achieve business goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting bakery environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a bakery or food service environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and experience with cash handling procedures.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations (ServSafe certification is a plus).
• Proven track record of driving sales and achieving targets.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
