Our journey has seen us flourish, now encompassing three thriving locations in the Spokane area alongside expansions into Las Cruces and Albuquerque. About the Role

As the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our downtown store. Your mission will be to champion Cinder's commitment to compliance, operational excellence, and team development. You'll be the vital link connecting store operations with the goals set forth by Cinder headquarters, fostering a seamless and productive environment that reflects our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management:

  • Lead day-to-day operations, ensuring a consistent presence on the sales floor
  • Manage financial activities including deposits, change orders, tip distribution, and expense reporting, while also overseeing supply orders
  • Maintain regular communication and actively participate in meetings with company leadership

Compliance Management:

  • Uphold Cinder policies and comply with all local and state laws involving recreational cannabis sales 
  • Ensuring dedication to responsible cannabis product sales
  • Cultivate a safe, compliant, and equitable work environment
  • Supervise inventory management and oversee regular product audits to ensure compliance

Staff Management:

  • Conduct employee performance reviews, handle disciplinary actions, and manage terminations when necessary
  • Provide continuous training and development opportunities, fostering a culture of growth and improvement
  • Assisting Human Resources in the hiring process including interviewing, onboarding, and training new staff
  • Manage staff schedules, attendance, and coverage for absences, ensuring seamless operations

Promotions and Engagement:

  • Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency, maintaining high standards of customer service
  • Engage with the community through participation in events and initiatives, promoting the company and establishing positive networking relationships
  • Collaborate with purchasing and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies for customer attraction and retention

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong background in managerial roles, with demonstrable success in leading teams and furthering company progress
  • Exceptional decision-making skills, ability to navigate complex situations with integrity and equity
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport across all levels of the organization, vendors, and customers
  • A driven leader, adept at motivating and holding team members accountable to high standards of performance
  • A comprehensive understanding of business operations, with a knack for strategic planning and financial management
  • Basic understanding of cannabis knowledge, product types, and their effects

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field preferred
  • General management experience in a retail or customer service environment preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age or older

Salary Range: $68k - $75k annual salary
