Cimarron is Hiring a Remote Service Specialist

Position Overview:

Installs and maintains vapor combustion/recovery systems and other various types of gas and oil production equipment in a field environment while being directly in charge of job safety and completion.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Supports a philosophy of zero accidents by following all applicable safety procedures and maintaining equipment to operate in the safest way possible.
  • Performs work associated with pipefitting of oil and gas production equipment.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and rules.
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to work hours necessary to meet customer requirements.
  • Installs and maintains burner management systems in a field environment.
  • Assist Field Service Crews with equipment repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain paperwork and field tickets for billing purposes.
  • Startup, Troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of Oil and Gas Production Equipment.
  • Works closely with Cimarron Customers to ensure job satisfaction.
  • Fills out all safety documentation to ensure job is completed in a safe manner.
  • Maintains Company truck and ensures all required maintenance is performed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Successfully pass and obtain DISA Certification.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area (50 miles) of facility location will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years’ experience in field service work.

Position Criteria:

  • Must have good mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various types of mechanical equipment.
  • Prior plant I&E construction experience a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and organize tasks.
  • Must be a self-starter and highly dependable.
  • Must possess excellent command of the English language in both written and spoken form.
  • Must have strong communication skills with all levels of employees and customers.
  • Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) a plus.
  • Must be extremely aware of safety procedures and protocol.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of inputs, outputs, raw materials, waste, quality control, assets, and techniques used for

maximizing the manufacturing of products.

  • Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, reach, climb steps and use ladder.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push/pull using 100lb of force.
  • Vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Vision to accurately read all related distribution documents and computer monitor screens.
  • Travel
  • Outdoor work requiring heavy physical labor
  • Position is 80% outside environment. Worker is subjected to weather elements and must be accustomed to performing tasks in potentially adverse conditions.
