Job DescriptionMission Our team specializing in hydroelectric and dam engineering is looking for a Senior Discipline Lead with specific expertise in civil/structural engineering as well as in the rehabilitation of hydraulic structures and hydroelectric power plants. This person can work from anywhere in Ontario, preferably in the Niagara region. You will have access to our flexible hybrid work model allowing you to work in person at the office, remotely, or combine both options. Primary Responsibilities Act as a discipline lead or multidisciplinary coordinator for major projects related to dams and hydroelectric facilities. Supervise the design of hydraulic structures and works. Participate in the management and technical coordination of major projects. Participate in the preparation of proposals. Establish and maintain relationships with clients. Master technical solutions and ensure their adequacy with clients’ needs. Plan project stages, monitor the progress of deliverables, and ensure compliance with the schedule. Ensure quality control of project practices. Support and verify the work of other specialized engineers (civil/structural, hydraulic, heavy mechanical, geotechnical, or electrical) Coordinate and supervise the work of engineers, technicians and draftspersons involved in the projects.
