The ideal candidate will have a demonstrate expertise in buildings decarbonation projects and strong abilities in cultivating relationships with clients. The candidate will be driven with a desire developing innovative solutions to engineering challenges as well as accompanying the clients through the design process.While working from the Halifax office for much of the time, you will be able to work in a hybrid mode.Primary responsibilitiesLiaise directly with clients, and maintain business relationshipsPrepare or supervise the design of buildings including commercial, residential, and institutional projectsWork with the project team from conceptual and preliminary stages of design through to completion Ensure compliance to the quality assurance and control program.QualificationsA recognized mechanical engineering degree and license with Engineers Nova Scotia as a P. Eng. Minimum of 10 years of directly related experience in mechanical buildings engineering.Experience in commercial and Institutional HVAC, plumbing and building services. Self-motivation and strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
