Ciao Roma is an upscale Italian restaurant located in a historic, picturesque setting in Boston's North End neighborhood. Serving Dinner and Weekend Brunch, we offer both indoor and outdoor dining. Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role as "the face" of the restaurant, providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive dining experience. We strive to provide a great workplace for our employees and the best possible experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome
- Seat guests and manage the seating chart
- Answer phone calls and assist with reservations
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor the waiting list
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Assist with cleaning and organizing the host station and surrounding restaurant areas
- Handle guest inquiries and provide direction where needed
- Organize to-go orders, collect payments and/or hand-off to delivery drivers

HOST REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in a high volume, upscale restaurant preferred.
• OpenTable knowledge a plus.
• Friendly, outgoing, energetic team player with a positive attitude.
• Professional demeanor and polished appearance with the ability to provide genuine interaction with patrons and team members.
• Excellent organization and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic knowledge of food service operations and restaurant etiquette.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
