Responsibilities:

- Migration Expertise: Lead the migration effort from on-premises to Azure Cloud, understanding the intricacies of both environments, identifying potential challenges, and designing a robust migration strategy, especially focused on cost-effectiveness. 

- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of the Azure environment, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and operations, to ensure a smooth transition and to address any technical issues that arise during the migration process.

- Automation: Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IAC with Terraform), and other automation processes to streamline the migration and ongoing management of the Azure environment.

- Security and Compliance: Maintain a strong focus on security best practices, ensuring that the Azure environment is properly configured and that all necessary compliance standards are met.

- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring tools, alerts, and proactive troubleshooting mechanisms to quickly identify and address any performance or reliability issues within the Azure environment.

- Documentation: Document the migration process, configuration, and best practices for the AKS environment, providing valuable resources for the team and future reference.

Qualifications:

- Experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a strong track record of successfully migrating complex infrastructure projects.

- Expertise in Azure environments, including containerization, orchestration, Kubernetes, and cloud services.

- Advanced English: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills are essential, as this role requires collaboration with global teams and documentation of the migration process.

- Automation Tools: Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub CI/CD), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible), and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).

- Security: Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, including network configuration, access controls, and encryption.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges.

Team Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor junior members of the team, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
