ChromaScape is Hiring a Sales Representative Near Independence, OH

Responsibilities for the Regional Outside Sales Representative:

  • Maintain and develop relationships with all current and potential/prospective customers through frequent touch points and in-person visits
  • Initiate and implement programs that will add value to our products and services
  • Promote, attend and support all functions or trade shows designed to strengthen customer relationships
  • Demonstrate product performance versus competitive products
  • Monitor competitive activity and actively seek out new targeted markets
  • Work with Quality Assurance to resolve any complaints and submit detailed work requests for samples and new products
  • Grow margin dollars by selling an appropriate mix of high-cost and value products, and developing new customers 
  • Adhere to the Expense Report and Travel Policy, including minimizing unnecessary travel expenses such as change fees, last-minute booking

Increase Sales by:

  • Follow up on all qualified leads. Maintain a top prospect list for current and new products
  • Actively seek out new targeted markets
  • Grow margin dollars selling an appropriate mix of high-cost and value products 
  • Submit detailed work requests for samples and new products
  • Provide timely and accurate sales call data and projection information utilizing our CRM system
  • Responsible for providing and updating an accurate detailed annual sales forecast
  • Comply with Company and Sales Department guidelines in the following areas:
    1. Pricing 
      • Complete pricing sheets for all customers being quoted
      • Get approval for all “non-standard” pricing/sales
      • Complete all the required paperwork for all sales
      • Provide customer maintenance data for entry into systems (ABAS)
      • Set monthly travel and schedule accordingly (air, car rental and hotels & etc.)
  • Company credit policy and also enforce the policy
  • Any other duties as assigned.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING PREFERRED:

  • Competent/comfortable with the use of information technology.
  • Valid Driver License and able to operate a motor vehicle
  • Great persuasive and negotiation skills
  • Ability to travel frequently as required by the job
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related industry experience (minimum 5 years).
  • Excellent communication and phone skills
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills 
  • Strong PC skills (MS Office, email, and ERP Systems)
