RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

Coordinate, support and direct the company’s quality management programs.

• Lead, organize and conduct internal audits and report on results.
• Create, standardize, document and maintain operating procedures and work instructions and written procedures.
  • Conduct regularly scheduled quality meetings.
  • Assist in in creation and distribution of quality reports.
• Apply quality management tools and approaches to resolve non-conformances.
• Maintain calibration schedule of measurement tools and devices.
• Support the purchase of new equipment by coordinating the Senior Technical Manager, Product quality.

Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service.

• Investigate internal and external customer complaints from issue to corrective action.
• Work with customer service to ensure that all external customer complaints are documented, investigated and resolved.
• Work with and lead internal functional teams to ensure that all internal complaints are documented, investigated and resolved.
• Work closely with Operations team to optimize quality, cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage non-conforming material return process.
• Identify root causes of internal and external complaints

Maintain a lead role on the continuous improvement team.

• Lead initiatives, with use of lean principles/tools for process improvements.
• Make recommendations for improvements 
• Responsible for corrective action and preventative action documentation and implementation.

Attend and participate in training opportunities and seminars relevant to this position.

Adhere to company operating procedures, employment, safety, and quality policies.

Any other duties as assigned.

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING PREFERRED:

• Associates degree or equivalent (SPC, Quality or Science background preferred)
• 3 years of experience in Quality Management experience in manufacturing environment
• Required Digital Proficiencies: PC (MS Office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) smartphone.
• Familiarity with LEAN principles
• Experience with ISO 9001 
• Strong continuous improvement and root cause analysis experience
• Basic math skills(addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
