Credit & Collections Manager Summary: The purpose of this position is to lead the credit and collections effort for Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC. The Credit & Collections Manager will also be responsible for overseeing the daily cash application processes for our domestic operations. Duties and Responsibilities: Daily follow up and collection activity of approximately 500 customer accounts, both domestic and international.Work with sales, finance, customer service, management, and operations personnel on credit matters including collections, credit or ship holds, cash in advance, payment terms, etc.Send invoices and statements to customers to collect accounts timely.Consolidate all unit AR files to support Treasury reporting requirements. Work with SIOP Team to develop AR Aging report in Power BI.Document customer payment processes for top sales customers and top delinquent customers.Document all collection activities within a weekly A/R aging file with cause codes for all past due invoices. Identify high risk customers and prepare data and hold collection meetings with sales account representatives and customer service departments weekly.Report weekly incoming cash forecasts based on collection efforts.Coach and mentor staff.Evaluate performance of team against established shared service key performance indicators (KPI’s).Plan and monitor staffing levels to ensure sufficient processing coverage.Manage the A/R ship-hold list and inform management when payments are received.Assess credit worthiness of new and existing customers, including establishment and monitoring of credit limits.Work with finance on assessment for reserves on delinquent A/R.Develop and enhance credit and collections policies and procedures.Any special projects or ad-hoc reporting, as needed. Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or management related field Experience: 8 years of related credit and collections experience, preferably aerospace or similar environment. Prior management experience. Skills: Experience collecting for high volume A/R portfolios (over 15,000 invoices on the weekly A/R aging report).Ability to develop and establish relations, both internally and externally with customers.Ability to manage and lead staff to excellent performance.Driven to perform well in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently, and proactively to develop solutions with minimal guidance.Extensive computer experience including MS Excel, PowerPoint and other MS Office products, database, etc.Highly organized and detail oriented.Able to stay focused on achieving targets, whether working independently or in partnership with colleagues. A relentless and versatile learner who is open to change and enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong understanding of systems, financial, and operational processes.
