ChristianaCare is Hiring a Registered Nurse - Outpatient Near Elkton, MD
ChristianaCare is currently seeking an experienced full-time Registered Nurse for our Specialty Care practices located at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD. This position will provide telephone triage support for our practices in Gastroenterology and Endocrinology.
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 am-4:30 pm
- no weekends or holidays
Position Highlights:
- Provides telephone triage support for multiple specialty care practices.
- Applies critical thinking skills to help patients navigate questions and concerns.
- Provides pre-op teaching/education, facilitates prescription refills, retrieves messages, and follows up appropriately.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- A graduate of a state-approved or National League of Nursing accredited School of Nursing.
- Two years experience as an RN, physician office experience preferred.
- BSN preferred; ADN considered with the agreement of completion of BSN in 3 years.
Special Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the State of Maryland.
- BLS certification is required.
