Christian School District is Hiring an IT Director Near Fallon, MO

Christian School District educates students in a Christ—centered atmosphere by discipling students toward academic, artistic, and athletic excellence. We partner with mission-minded families to integrate Christian faith and academic learning for their children from preschool through 12th grade.

IT Director

Responsible for the CSD network and administrative operations including strategic planning and implementation of technology as well as developing, coordinating, budgeting, and purchasing all technology software and hardware.

Requirements/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science (recommended), computer programming, management information systems or a related field, and/or on the job experience doing a similar position.
  • Minimum of five (5) years computer-related experience.
  • Experience in managing information systems.
  • Experience with computer programs and services including Windows, Microsoft Office, firewall/router configurations, wireless networks and the ability to troubleshot standardized desktops, laptops and servers.

Duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the overall goals of the school by:
    • Adhering to the policies and procedures of Christian School District as stated in the employee handbook.
    • Helping the staff, students, and volunteers' function efficiently, effectively, and productively.
    • Participating in staff orientation, staff devotionals, staff meetings, and parent/teacher fellowship meetings as requested.
    • Driving continuous professional development through professional reading, college course work, in-services, workshops, and conferences.
  • Managing the overall information systems of the district, including oversight of the school's:
    • network infrastructure
    • email (Microsoft Office / Outlook) and phone systems (Zoom)
    • licensed software and programs
    • computer labs and mobile charging carts
  • Maintaining district hardware by:
    • ensuring functionality and arranging for timely repairs of devices and peripherals.
    • implementing district policies relative to all matters that pertain to technology.
    • instructing school employees and students in the appropriate use of computers, programs, the Internet, email, and computer software.
  • Providing direction and leadership as it relates to:
    • setting and accomplishing of goals and objectives in the school technology plan.
    • budgeting, bidding and purchasing of all technology purchases.
    • planning for future technology needs and trends.
  • Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the administration.
    • Opportunities to teach and/or facilitate Computer Science classes or clubs may also be available.

Work Expectations

Hours – this is a year-round position. During the school year, expect to work 40 hours a week. Hours will typically be during the school day but may vary depending on the timing of school activities. Out of session, a 20 hour work week should be expected. Hours may also vary by need or activity.

Salary and Benefits

$40,000-$55,000 based on experience and certifications

Health w/ HSA ($75/month employer contribution), Dental, and Vision Offered

Complementary $25,000 Life and ADD Policy

Fulltime employees receive 64 hours PTO per year and year around employees receive an additional 40 vacation hours

Fulltime employees receive a 50% CSD student tuition discount

Required certifications will be paid by CSD
