We are recruiting a Mental Health Support Specialist to provide services in our STRONG program. STRONG stands for Successfully Treating and Reaching Our Next Generation. We chose this name because it expresses the values and mission of our program and organization. The STRONG program recognizes the unique value of each child and acknowledges that each child deserves a chance at a successful future. We are seeking applicants who are willing to provide mental services to in a positive manner in a Christian work environment. This individual will be working with the early childhood age range.

This is a full-time role and the applicant selected will be eligible for Christian Family Solutions' full benefits package. This benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, short- and long-term disability, 401(K) plan and match policy, and PTO. Hours for this position are generally 7:30am- 4pm, Monday - Friday.

What you will be doing

Facilitating psycho-educational skills groups for clients admitted into the program. Providing general client care, de-escalation services, and support to the clinical services team.

Quality mental health delivered with integrity is the first commitment we make to our clients. Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree required, and preferably in a field related to mental health.

2. Previous experience working with children with severe emotional/ behavioral disorders (early childhood age range preferred).

3. Active member of a WELS or ELS or confessional Lutheran church preferred.

4. Willingness to support the mission of Christian Family Solutions.

5. Previous coursework or training on children with mental health/emotional disorders.

6. Desires to work with kindergarten through 1st grade aged children

7. Personal aptitude and life experience which suggest aptitude to provide positive and effective services for children with mental health disorders.

8. Willing to uphold a biblical worldview in the clinical setting.
