We have an immediate opening for a motivated, Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Coordinator. This position would cover maintenance coordination as well as daily facility and maintenance tasks for The Gardens of Hartford, a beautiful 48-apartment RCAC senior living community located in Hartford, WI. What you will be doing:

In accordance with the mission and vision of Christian Family Solutions, the Facilities Maintenance Coordinator manages the maintenance and operation of The Gardens of Hartford. This individual will:

• Develop maintenance policies & procedures which ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment.
• Manage all building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
• Ensure facilities maintenance work follows safety standards, conforms to specifications, and that work orders are tracked and completed within the budgeted guidelines.
• Assist resident needs such as moving furniture & hanging pictures.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors engaged for facility renovation projects.
• Assume an integral role in promoting and implementing safe, clean, and healthy environments for our clients, residents, staff, and visitors.
• Provide on-call coverage for emergencies on evenings and weekends.
• Oversee snow removal & grounds maintenance of facilities.

Both indoor & outdoor work will be required for this position.

Hours are:

Monday-Friday, approximately 24 hours per week.

Must be willing to work on-call hours on evenings and weekends

Requirements

Facilities Maintenance Coordinator candidates should possess the following:

• Associates degree or certificate of training in facilities maintenance preferred.
• 2 years of facilities management experience.
• Experience and skills in the following areas: general HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical skills, allowing for ability to perform routine maintenance across a broad spectrum of issues.
• Must have a valid State of Wisconsin driver's license and clean driving record.
• Personnel management with the experience in managing, motivating, training and scheduling staff.
• Understanding and experience in inventory control and budgeting.
• Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
• Skills to comprehend blueprint details and specifications.
• Ability to plan and schedule daily and weekly maintenance schedules.
• Possess personnel management skills, with experience in managing, motivating, training, and scheduling staff preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
• Strong internal customer service skills and the ability to communicate proactively both in written and verbal form.
• A high degree of self-directedness.
