Christian County Human Resources will be accepting applications for a Truck Driver/Operator for Common II Road District. This position’s duties include but are not limited to; driving truck equipped with dump body to transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, salt or bituminous paving materials. May also be required to operate other heavy equipment, including but not limited to backhoes, excavators, tractors, motorgraders, etc. Additional duties may include roadway patching, tree trimming, bridge/culvert maintenance and general labor.

Education / Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years prior work experience preferred.
• License or Certificate: Possession of a CDL Class A, or ability to acquire within 90 days is required.

This position spends the majority of the day standing or walking. Occasionally lifts and/or moves objects weighing up to 100lbs such as tools, equipment, supplies, etc. This full-time position works Monday-Thursday from 6:00am-4:30pm. Employees must pass a background check, drug screening and attend all required training.
