Job Description:

We are in search of a talented Medical Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will handle front office responsibilities and provide vital administrative support to our practice. We value individuals who can manage multiple duties, remain composed under pressure, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer multiple phone lines and professionally screen incoming calls.
  • Greet and check in patients, ensuring their comfort in the waiting area.
  • Oversee patient flow to maintain an efficient and punctual daily schedule.
  • Update and complete patient information in our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Maintain a well-organized, clean, and adequately stocked front reception area.
  • Process patient checkouts and payments.
  • Handle mail and package distribution.
  • Assist in confirming patient appointments.
  • Manage office supplies and brochures to ensure a well-stocked office.
  • Assist nurses in stocking exam and procedure rooms.
  • Assist with patient care as needed.
  • Support social media and online content efforts to promote our practice.

Job Requirements:

  • Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines independently.
  • High level of professionalism and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Spanish fluency is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Desire and ability to contribute to a pleasant, team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Prior experience in a plastic surgery office is a plus but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Commitment to maintaining a professional appearance and grooming at all times.

Education:

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • The ability to provide three professional references.
  • A background check will be conducted.
