The following shifts are available: Sun 6am - 1:30 pm & Mon - Thurs. 5am - 1:30 pm

Our Anaheim facility is a high-volume food production and distribution environment that is hiring energetic and quality-oriented team members. We have full-time positions that work SUN - THURS and follow the school year calendar. Perfect for families to enjoy the holidays off!

Job Summary:

Energetic and quality-oriented team member committed to meet, or exceed expectations and goals of Choicelunch in providing healthy school lunches in a high volume, fast paced production environment.

Follow instructions given on varying tasks Assist in various areas of the kitchen as needed Maintain a clean and safe working environment Ability to work in varying temperature environments

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. * Prep Cook experience or skills required, such as but not limited to 'cutting, prep, light cooking', a CA Food Handlers Certificate a plus

* Able to read and write in English

Physical demands and work environment:

* Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, and safely move HFBs which way upwards for 250 lbs and safely operate lift gate. Specific vision abilities required by the job require close and distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time, and on occasion may be exposed to cold temperatures in the walk-in refrigerator for extended periods of time. The noise level is usually moderate.
