Choice Consulting, as a Collective, Holistic, Outreach, Inclusive, and Community Empowerment organization, aims to address Social Determinants of Health through evidence-based service delivery. The role of the Enrollment Assister involves providing fair, impartial, and accurate enrollment assistance and information to individuals and families regarding health insurance options available through the Pennsylvania Health Insurance Marketplace, known as Pennie. These options include Qualified Health Plans, as well as free to low-cost coverage from Medical Assistance (MA), Medicaid, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), including Medical Assistance for Workers with Disabilities (MAWD).

The responsibilities of the Enrollment Assister encompass the following:

• Education and Assistance:
• Educate and assist individuals who self-identify as uninsured or underinsured, helping them understand the various health insurance coverage options available to them.
• Assess enrollment eligibility and assist in completing initial and renewal applications for Medicaid, CHIP, and Pennie.
• Child Enrollment Advocacy:
• Explain the benefits of enrolling children in free to low-cost insurance programs offered through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
• Community Engagement:
• Cultivate relationships and engage with community-based organizations (CBOs), Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), and regional provider systems.
• Renewals applications for Medicaid, CHIP through COMPASS.

Additionally, the Enrollment Assister’s home office is located in York, PA 17401, with travel required to other sites as determined by supervisor/management.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
