CHOICE CONSULTING is seeking dedicated a Business Analyst to join our team. This multifaceted role demands meticulous attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a commitment to patient safety and care. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to our operations.
Responsibilities
This is an office-based role requiring travel when deemed appropriate by supervisor/management. The home office for this position is Camp Hill, PA 17011.
The Business Analyst will conduct all related job functions assigned to the Business Analyst, including but not limited to:
Accurate Reports:
Thoroughly review and validate reports related to healthcare services, patient outcomes, and operational metrics.
Identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
Service Efficiency:
Optimize processes within call management and field operations.
Streamline workflows to enhance service delivery and responsiveness.
Healthcare Reports:
Analyze and interpret healthcare data, including patient records, billing, and performance metrics.
Provide actionable insights for process improvement.
Compliance with Specifications and Standards:
Ensure adherence to industry guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organizational benchmarks.
Implement corrective actions as needed.
Monitor Staff Production:
Track and evaluate staff performance metrics.
·Provide feedback and coaching to improve productivity.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills
Attention to Detail: Professional must meticulously inspect products and enforce standards.
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) within a Windows-based environment, Internet applications, and electronic documentation programs.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement.
Communication: Effective communication with team members to address issues as well as strong organizational and presentation skills.
Process-Oriented: Understanding of production processes and how to minimize defects.
Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills: must be a team player who works cooperatively and effectively with other Choice Consulting staff and community-based partners.
Independent Worker: Must be able to handle multiple assignments and take initiative to plan and complete projects effectively with minimal guidance.
HIPAA Compliance: Must have knowledge of and maintain the standards and requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Ensure the protection and security of personal, confidential, and identifiable information in a professional and responsible manner and carry out all measures to prevent unauthorized disclosures.
Culturally Competent: Respects differences of race, ethnicity, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, ability, and socio-economic circumstance; understands and applies principles of cultural competence.
Education/Experience
Bilingual - English/Spanish is preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field required.
2 years of experience as Business Analyst or in a related field.
Medicaid: Understand Medicaid regulations and requirements.
Medical Terminology: Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
Experience with Power Bi Required.
ICD-9 Coding: Proficiency in coding diagnoses.
CPT-4 Coding: Knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology 4th Edition codes used for billing and reimbursement.
