The Health Services Administrator is a year-round administrative staff position reporting to the Director of Operations. The Health Services Administrator supports, coordinates the efforts of and collaborates with the Medical Director, Director of Counseling, and health and wellness services personnel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Fosters a constructive and collaborative relationship between all personnel who fall under the health services umbrella.
• Ensures that the Pratt Health Center is accessible and welcoming for the student community, offering a well-integrated and coordinated set of health services.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining processes and policies in order to comply with all state and local health center regulations.
• Tracks and assesses the physical and mental health and wellness needs of students; runs Medicat reports regularly to monitor and share data trends.
• Oversees scheduling and hiring process of Pratt Health Center staff.
• Coordinates communication between the Medical Director, Counseling Director, and wellness educators to ensure that school-wide programming and services are responsive to needs of the community.
• Works with Pratt Health Center personnel to ensure the collection of health forms, insurance information, and other necessary paperwork required from students and families.
• Encourages and monitors appropriate utilization of electronic medical record-keeping technology and documents periodic reporting on health services provided.
• Maintains a strong online presence to reflect the depth of Choate’s health and wellness services and programs.
• Manages Pratt Health Center facility needs, to include ensuring that the Health Center has the appropriate supplies and materials consistent with a 24/7 medical operation. 
• Manages the reimbursement processes and budgeting logistics for the Pratt Health Center.
• Oversees the administrative team in the Pratt Health Center.
