Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Director to oversee the operations and management of our residential community. As the Community Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall satisfaction of residents, maintaining the property, and adhering to all applicable regulations and policies.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of property management, including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain residents
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8, LIHTC, and other relevant housing programs
- Manage the budget and financial performance of the community
- Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to address any repair or maintenance issues
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it is well-maintained and meets safety standards
- Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to leasing, maintenance, and resident interactions
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and other applicable housing laws of the area
- Excellent negotiation skills for contract management
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Knowledge of facilities management principles
