Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This is a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: electrical repairs, plumbing repairs, HVAC system maintenance, and general building repairs
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them promptly
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions
- Fabricate parts and components as needed
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, record maintenance activities, and manage inventory
- Supervise and coordinate external contractors when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
Experience:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including reading schematics and working with logic controllers
- Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques
- Experience with CMMS software preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively
