Description

Are you ready for your seat on a rocket ship of a company? Chipr is one of the fastest growing home solution companies in the United States, and we are hiring for a VP of Sales & Account Management. This person will play a key role in our senior leadership team and help drive company initiatives.

In this role, you will lead our sales efforts focused on multi-tenant residential properties, such as apartment buildings and condominium complexes. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build strong relationships with property owners, developers, and property management companies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the MDU market, a proven track record of sales leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Requirements

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the sales and account management strategy aligned with the overall business objectives
  • Collaborate with the executive team to contribute to the company's growth and market expansion

Sales and MDU Management Team Leadership:

  • Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales leadership team
  • Implement effective sales processes, methodologies, and performance metrics
  • Implement strategies for MDU success that exceeds carrier expectations and create growth opportunities
  • Achieve overall sales quotas
  • Develop and manage business unit P&L to ensure company objectives for revenue and profitability are met or exceeded

Carrier Management:

  • Oversee the management of key client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and upsell opportunities
  • Develop engagement strategies to ensure carriers are informed and aligned to strategies and initiatives
  • Broader strategic relationships within carriers to ensure we are proactively presented with growth opportunities

Market Analysis and Expansion:

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends
  • Develop and execute plans for market expansion and penetration

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure a cohesive and customer-centric approach
  • Provide input on product development based on customer feedback and market needs

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Implement robust reporting mechanisms to track sales performance, analyze results, and make data-driven decisions
  • Regularly report to the executive team on sales and account management KPIs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in sales and account management leadership roles
  • Experience in the client partner, channel, or carrier industry is highly desirable
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients
  • 6 years leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing sales teams
