The Treasury Analyst supports the treasury function by preparing bank deposits, handling daily cash activities, preparing portions of the daily cash forecast, auditing purchasing card receipts, working with outside auditors to prepare treasury-related schedules for the annual audit, and setting up vendors. Overall, the Treasury Analystcontributes to the CHS high performance culture by exhibiting our values and providing quality results that position CHS as the leader in delivering proactive behavioral health, case management, community and early childhood solutions for children and families.

Responsibilities

Primary Job Functions

1. Support CHS treasury functions.

  • Assist with opening daily mail under dual control.
  • Prepare daily deposit and transmit to bank.
  • Assist with the preparation of the daily cash forecast report.
  • Audit purchasing card receipts and reports for compliance with CHS internal controls and procedures.
  • Assist Finance, Philanthropy and other areas with locating check copies as needed.
  • Set up new vendors upon receipt of properly approved forms.
  • Research and reconcile payroll bank statements.
  • Fully document all processes and procedures related to the position and keep them current.
  • Cross-train backups as assigned by the Finance Director.
  • Assist Finance department team members in researching back up related to bank activity.
  • Assist in the annual audit process.
  • Cross train in the duties of other Finance team members and fill in/backup as needed.

2. Contribute to a positive, engaging work environment.

  • Develop a strong knowledge base and stay current on job-related issues and trends.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, training and education, as well as the quality process.
  • Comply with CHS’s code of conduct, policies, procedures and other obligations.
  • Assist with training other team members and providing back up when necessary.
  • Pick up projects on the fly; perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
  • Demonstrate the CHS Common Bond values in the performance of all job duties.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications

Education, Licenses & Certifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent, required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Florida Driver’s License within 30 days from hire with daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle, required.

Experience:

  • Three years of accounting/finance related experience, required.
  • Five years of banking experience, preferred.
  • Experience at a non-profit organization, preferred.

Competencies

  • Oral and written communication, including presentation and platform
