About the Position:
The Accountant/Data Specialist will be responsible for data transformation and transfer of large volumes of information between databases and keep records current with new data. Update database records as information becomes available using many different applications. This position will use tools such as PowerBI and SQL to access and reconcile various data touchpoints.

Essential Work you Will do:

• Carry out the strategy for collecting, reconciling, uploading, and disbursing hospital funds.
• Review and maintain data integrity submitted by hospitals and partners through internal processes to ensure accuracy and identify duplication, or funds that may not have been recorded.
• Working in collaboration with the internal stakeholders to communicate and resolve any discrepancies which may have been identified.
• Work with teams to ensure disbursement-related data are received timely and accurately to transform that information throughout disbursement processes.
• Provides excellent support for disbursement-related questions from hospitals, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Reconciling donations between external sources, internal sources, and accounting systems.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and/or posting errors as needed.
• Control the data integrity by performing comparative analysis of different sources.
• You will be expected to work from the CMN Hospitals office in Salt Lake City 5 days a week.

• Attends national meetings and conferences.
• Serves on and attends internal team meetings to collaborate work.
• Additional data reconciliation, translation, cleaning, and transforming

About You

• You have a knowledge of general business principles involved in planning, fundraising, customer service, and coordination of people and resources to meet customer needs.
• You are self-motivated and willing to dig in and learn the details of the work.
• You have a bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accounting, or other specialized training/certification in accounting & data. We will also consider equivalent work experience.
• You typically have 3 years doing reconciliation, data translation, or related technical experience, can include time in school.
• You have intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
