Overview

This role will work under the direction of principal investigator, Dr. Stephani Stancil, on projects related to adolescent precision therapeutics and risk reduction. The purpose of this role is to support the study team in timely publication of study findings, submission of grant proposals and meeting clinical study enrollment targets. Current studies focus on the development of a pharmacodynamic biomarker for use in psychotropic drug development, brain disposition of antidepressants, pharmacogenetic variation associated with drug response and tolerability, development of personalized treatment strategies and counseling interventions. Techniques and datasets include neuroimaging (e.g., fMRI, MRS), plasma and urine drug concentration analysis, genetic analysis, behavioral assessments, qualitative/formative work, and community engagement. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to, data collection, analysis, database management, clinical study day conduct, regulatory (e.g., Institutional Review Board) support, quality assurance, biospecimen collection/processing/storage, assistance with manuscript preparation and grant proposals.

Responsibilities

-Data collection primarily through chart review or at the time of a study visit. Conducting surveys or administering questionnaires at the time of study visit. When appropriate obtaining consent.

- ​Data analysis under the supervision and direction of the PI

- Manage daily project operations and coordinate all parties collecting data- Provide technical assistance to research projects- Ongoing professional development to support the divison research mission

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree and 1-2 years' experience, preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (teams, excel, etc) preferred. Experience with previous data collection through an EMR preferred.

Starting Pay

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $18.02/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.

Remote Work/Work from Home

This position is not eligible work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
