Job Summary
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) delivers Applied Behavior Analysis services to youth in foster care in therapeutic residential campus or community setting under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT performs a broad range of training and development activities, assessment services, and case consultation as part of an integrated team of Behavior Analysis professionals, therapists, and caregiving staff to meet the clinical and behavioral needs of at-risk youth.
The core responsibilities of this position include:
- Delivering behavior therapy services to youth.
- Supporting caregiver training in behavior management skills.
- Assisting the BCBA with the completion of Preference Assessments, Functional Behavior Assessments, and Behavior Intervention Plans.
- Completing accurate and timely documentation consistent with agency standards, rules and regulations, and Medicaid requirements.
- Maintaining a minimum rate of 80% billable hours.
- Completing discrete Trial Training.
- Conducting assessments such as the VB-MAPP.
- Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data.
- Participating in treatment plan reviews, psychiatric consultations, internal/external youth staffing meetings, and/or any client review meetings.
- Participating in Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program implementation.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/ or GED equivalent.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Current Medicaid provider enrollment preferred.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Valid Florida driver’s license with no record of criminal driving offense or license suspension.
- Insurable under CHN’s current auto insurance policy.
- Must successfully complete and maintain FDLE clearance, Federal background, and state criminal background check and sexual predator screening.
