Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other behavioral health needs. Your role will involve implementing behavior plans, collecting data, and assisting with the development of care plans. Duties: - Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Provide one-on-one behavioral therapy to individuals with ASD or other behavioral health needs - Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors - Assist in the development and modification of individualized care plans - Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistency in implementing behavior strategies - Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations - Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients Experience: - Previous experience working with individuals with autism or behavioral health needs is preferred - Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus - Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health is beneficial - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work effectively as part of a team Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred - Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is desired but not mandatory; we provide training for eligible candidates - Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Ability to pass background checks and drug screening Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications - Comprehensive training program provided - Opportunities for career advancement within the organization If you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with autism and have the necessary skills and qualifications, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as a Behavior Technician.
