Summary:
The Compliance/Privacy Program Coordinator manages, facilitates and conducts all compliance, privacy and internal audit assessment activities related to all program project planning. The primary focus is to serve as the project/program primary contact for the Compliance and Internal Audit Department, in the planning and implementation in accordance with established policy and procedure standards, applicable regulatory requirements and system strategic objectives at the direction of the Senior Director and/or designee.
Responsibilities:
Manages, facilitates and coordinates compliance, privacy and internal audit program activities in collaboration with department members, department director and key senior leadership members.
Maintains ongoing program evaluation through maintenance of department project plans, reports and dashboards. These include, but are not limited to, Compliance Committee dashboards, board reports, subcommittee reports, and additional leadership communications.
Maintains a comprehensive rotational auditing process in collaboration with department director. Assesses and recognizes self-development needs. Seeks out resources or experiences which promote professional growth. Participates in mock or compliance program assessment activities.
Coordinates a master program of activities calendar in collaboration with department members regarding development of program materials, project deadlines, and announced regulatory activities. Communicates program status and evaluation results/trends to department director on an ongoing basis.
Communicates with other departments regarding program offerings on an ongoing basis. Maintains files in accordance with requirements from regulatory agencies. Participates in the evaluation of the cost effectiveness of the Compliance program.
Coordinates a master program of activities calendar in collaboration with department members regarding development of program materials, project deadlines, and other program activities. Communicates program status and evaluation results/trends to department director on an ongoing basis.
Communicates with other departments regarding program offerings on an ongoing basis. Maintains files in accordance with requirements from regulatory agencies and internal expectations.

WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years in healthcare Preferred
EDUCATION
Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Req
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Healthcare Compliance or equivalent Compliance Certification (ex. CHC, CHRC, CHPC, CHC-F, or CCEP) (at time of hire or within 3 years of hire date) Preferred
