Children's Evaluation & Therapy Center is Hiring a Clinical Intake Administrative Assistant Near Lanham, MD

Position Title: Clinical Intake Administrative Assistant (Part-time Position/25 hours a week)

Work Hours: Monday : 11:30am-5pm; Tuesday: 1:30pm-7pm; Wednesday: 11:30am-5pm; Thursday: 11:30am-5:00pm and Friday: 10:00am-3:30pm Must be flexible to work additional hours as needed.

CETC is seeking an organized and proactive administrative assistant to join our organization. You will work directly with our Clinical Director to ensure the Intake workflow is efficiently and effectively implemented. Must have strong interpersonal skills the ability to manage multiple tasks at once and a wide breadth of experience managing clerical responsibilities.

Key Functions :

In-processes all new and/or returning patients from end-to-end

Enters administrative information into computerized database

Verifies new patient insurance information

Runs reports and initiates corrective action as necessary to insure accuracy and completeness of administrative information

Compiles and reports on incoming client data and trends

Assists clients and staff with client account questions as they occur

Schedules therapy sessions and/or evaluations

Keeps current with trends and developments related to essential job competencies

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications Associates Degree (preferred)

Bilingual in Engligh/Spanish is a plus

Committed continuing education to improve job performance**

1-2 years experience in this position and/or basic office management

Intermediate word processing/typing skills (e.g. 50-80 wpm)

Proficient use of personal computer (i.e. knowledge of Internet Explorer and search engines MS WORD EXCEL PowerPoint beginners knowledge of QUICKBOOKS is a plus)

Experience with file management inventories scheduling

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Excellent telephone etiquette

Excellent organizational time management skills and ability to multitask

Demonstrates above average verbal and written communication skills

Ability to follow written and oral instructions

Multi-tasks takes initiative problem solves and demonstrates good critical thinking skills & fast learner

To extent possible works independently
